MARKUS & LAURA
Laura & Markus founded Kaiser Pet Care in 2017 with a shared commitment to improving the way dogs experience care.
Laura is a Certified Canine Behavior Consultant (CBCC-KA) one of a limited number of professionals in Virginia with this credential.

Her work focuses on the intersection of behavior, emotional regulation, and handling- particularly in situations where dogs struggle with grooming or stress-based responses. She works with all dogs, helping prevent the development of fear-based behaviors and addressing more complex cases where standard training is no longer sufficient.
Her behavior modification work integrates behavioral science, low arousal handling, and structured intervention to produce meaningful, lasting change. Her approach is structured, evidence-based, and designed to create long-term stability, not short-term compliance.

Laura is an Associate Member of the Pet Dog Trainers of Europe, the largest force-free trainer organization in Europe. Laura is a Certified Ethical Dog Trainer, Fear-Free Certified Professional, a member of the Pet Professional Guild (Force-Free largest association). Laura is also a Certified canine biomechanics analyst graduate from the UK Galen Myotherapy school.
In addition, she has over a decade of experience working with rescue dogs in high-risk environments, including cases involving fear, stress and behavioral instability, and serves in the Animal Advisory Board for Prince William County.

Kaiser Pet Care provides behavior consultation, puppy prevention programs, confidence-building classes, and behavior-informed fear-free grooming for dogs who need structured, low-stimulation care.
